Here we can list clubs, bars, and any other venues that fall under the "night life" category. Each entry should include the price of the cheapest beer and the cheapest shot. Maybe what kind of music they play, if they have a dance floor, some info on the crowd that attends, dress requirements (if any), cover charges and specials.
Old Town Draught HouseEdit
Great bar located on UNCG's campus, right next to Yum Yum. Old Town has an intimate atmosphere and great selection of locally brewed beers, as well as some really awesome food. On Wednesdays beer is a dollar off. The bar is an extension of Natty Greene's, which is downtown.
Located downtown on Elm St., near the train tracks. Great food and great beer, including local brews like Old Town Brown and Amber Buck Shot. Three stories of restaurant and bar space, as well as a large outdoor seating area.
Irish pub located across the street from Natty Greene's. It can be a little more pricey but is well worth it. Some of the best service in Greensboro. It has a great atmosphere and 2nd floor balcony provides a nice view of the city. Wide range of music, depending on who is working that night.
Dive bar within walking distance of campus down spring garden after the CVS next to the bar with the graffiti on it. $1 PBR and $1 shots on special nights (usually during shows). There's rumors that they won't be having any more punk shows but this seems unlikely as the place sells out of pretty much everything every time.Good place for a cheap drunk and some good music.
Disco Inferno Edit
Inferno will play popular music from the 70's, 80's and early 90's. Inferno's design is reminiscent of an old 70's disco! Complete with beaded curtains, lava lamps, mirror balls, and best of all, a dance floor that lights up in a colorful pattern. Inferno's DJ is an experienced sound, light & video expert specializing in the 70's & 80's. [http://www.infernogreensboro.com/home.cfm ]
